These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of rloka.com and its associated community platform (the "Platform"), operated by NJK Dassur Technology Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated in India with its registered office at UrbTech Trade Centre, Sector 132, Noida, Uttar Pradesh – 201304 ("rLoka", "we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Platform. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement. rLoka reserves the right to request proof of age and to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement.

2. Account Registration and Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.

3. Description of Service

rLoka provides plain-language legal education content, series/courses, and access to community groups and forums for peer support and discussion. Some content and features are available for free; others require a paid membership as described in Section 4.

rLoka is an educational and community platform. It does not provide legal advice, and nothing on the Platform constitutes a lawyer-client relationship. For advice specific to your situation, consult a qualified lawyer.

4. Membership and Fees

• The paid Membership plan is currently priced at ₹1,999 per month. This is the only paid plan currently offered; there is no annual plan or discount at this time.
• There is no free trial for the Membership plan.
• Membership is billed on a manual, month-to-month basis — your subscription does not auto-renew, and you will need to make payment again each month to continue Membership access.
• Payments are processed through Razorpay. rLoka does not store your full card or bank account details.
• You may cancel your Membership at any time through your account/profile settings. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period (see our Refund Policy).
• rLoka reserves the right to change Membership pricing or plans in the future, with reasonable notice posted on the Platform.

5. User Content and Conduct

rLoka hosts content that you and other members submit to community groups, forums, and comments. rLoka does not claim ownership of your content — you retain all rights to what you post. By posting content, you grant other members of the relevant group/forum permission to view it as part of normal use of the Platform.

You agree not to post, share, or transmit content that:

• Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy, or harassing
• Promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination on the basis of religion, caste, community, gender, or region, or is likely to incite communal or religious disharmony
• Impersonates any person, or misrepresents your identity or affiliation
• Threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, or public order
• Infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary rights
• Is deceptive, misleading, or constitutes misinformation, including fabricated or AI-generated/synthetic content presented as real without disclosure
• Is threatening, abusive, or constitutes stalking, doxxing, or the non-consensual sharing of private images or information
• Promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders, or provides instructions for illegal activity
• Involves financial fraud, scams, unauthorised solicitation, or multi-level marketing schemes
• Violates any applicable law currently in force in India, including the IT Act and IT Rules

rLoka may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at its discretion, and will act on valid complaints and government/court orders in accordance with the IT Rules.

6. Intermediary Status and Grievance Redressal

rLoka acts as an intermediary under Section 2(1)(w) of the IT Act with respect to user-generated content hosted in community groups and forums, and observes the due diligence requirements under the IT Rules to avail of safe harbour protection under Section 79 of the IT Act.

We will acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and act on them within the timelines prescribed under the IT Rules, including expedited windows (2/3 hours) applicable to specific categories under the 2026 Amendment Rules.

7. Intellectual Property

All rLoka branding, logos, course content, and platform design are the property of NJK Dassur Technology Pvt. Ltd. and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without our prior written consent, except as permitted for personal, non-commercial use of the Platform.

8. Termination

rLoka may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in conduct harmful to other users, or as required by law. You may stop using the Platform and cancel your Membership at any time via your account settings.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. rLoka does not warrant that the content is complete, accurate, or applicable to your specific circumstances, and content on the Platform is for general educational purposes only and is not a substitute for individualised legal advice from a qualified lawyer.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, rLoka shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform, including reliance on any content or advice shared by other members in community groups or forums.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless rLoka, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
