About us

Canada became home. But finding your people wasn’t always easy.

Moving to a new country is exciting.

  • A new city.
  • A new education.
  • A new career.
  • A chance to build something of your own.

But somewhere between figuring out studies, work, housing, paperwork and everyday life, something can get lost — community.

You can know hundreds of people and still feel like you don’t really have anyone to call.

This is personal for us.

We were international undergraduate students at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia, more than a decade ago.

Over all these years, we’ve gone through many of the phases an international student or newcomer can experience — building friendships, adapting to a different culture, figuring out work and life, finding our place, and learning things the hard way.

And we’ve watched countless others go through the same journey, again and again.

That is what pushed us to create this platform.

We believe people shouldn’t have to navigate a new country alone when there are thousands of others going through the same journey.

We want to make it easier for South Asians across Canada to find genuine friendships, discover people with similar interests, join groups and events, learn how life in Canada works, and find people who understand what the journey feels like.

And while we build a life here, we shouldn’t have to leave behind where we came from.

We’re here to help you build both.
